Class 3 Weather Station Investigation
As part of their ongoing 'Climate and Weather' studies, Class 3 have been monitoring the Pendoylan weather conditions closely. They've learned how to use a manual weather station to find out the temperature and wind speed, and are also using a high-tech electonic weather station to help them predict the coming weather. They've even made their own rain gauges to measure the rainfall. Luckily, they've been almost empty so far this week!
So remember, if you need to know if it will be dry this weekend, ask a Class 3 pupil!

Year 4 - Summer reading
In class 4 we are reading as a class the classic novel 'Holes' by Louis Sachar
We have
all read to chapter 4 and so excited to read the rest. So far we have read of a 'bad boy' camp where
naughty children go to dig holes. Also
we have heard of a warden who runs these camps that's not very nice! (He owns
the shade apparently?! We'll tell you more when we find out) We’ve also come
across the character Stanley Yelnats who’s been sent to the 'bad boy' camp for
a crime he did not commit.
